Hotel Rooms in Pápa - Antique rural guest room with WEB accessibility
The furniture of the antique rural guest room was made around 1870.
The present form of the pieces was given through a special restoration procedure and technique. The room provides accommodation basically to 2 adults and 2 children. At that time, a rural home had normally two rooms to live in. They opened to the left and to the right from the centrally located kitchen. The furniture of the two rooms was generally similar with the exception that the one facing the street was fitted with newer items with more decorations and pieces of better quality. This was called the "clean room". It was kept always clean; the members of the family didn't use it but was open before guests. Honoured guests were led here, acquaintances whom the family wanted to impress. Illustrious events, holidays, family feasts were held in this room. Dignities, like the parish priest or the head of the village were received in the "clean Room"... If an illustrious guest slept at the house, the family made his or her bed here. A bathroom with shower-bath opens from this room directly. Basic services are: television, fridge, web accessibility, and an enclosed parking lot.
